Zurn PEX Q4PC100XBLUE 3/4"" x 100' (30.5 m) Roll, Blue Zurn PEX tubing's versatility makes it perfect for many residential, commercial, and industrial applications. It not only meets ASTM standards, but goes well beyond these requirements. Zurn PEX Q4PC100XBLUE 3/4"" x 100' (30.5 m) Roll Features: • Zurn PEX will handle all normal temperatures and pressures for residential potable water systems and radiant floor heating applications. • Zurn PEX tubing stays flexible at all temperatures. It is easy to install year round. • Zurn PEX tubing is practically inert. Nothing sticks to it. This means Zurn PEX resists mineral buildup, rust, corrosion, and electrolysis. • Zurn PEX piping can be connected to galvanized, copper, polybutylene, and CPVC systems with standard Zurn fittings. • Nom. Size I.D. 1/4"" x 100' (30.5 m) Roll • O.D 3/8"" • Pressure Ratings: 160 PSI (11 BAR) at 73°F (23°C), 100 PSI (7 BAR) at 180°F (82°C), 80 PSI (5.5 BAR) at 200°F (93.3°C). Zurn PEX is easy to cut with many types of cutting tools. Hacksaws, pruning shears, molding shears, and pocket knives are often used for an occasional cut. The tube surface must be cut, not indented (as with a dull tool). Professional and production work is best handled with recommended cutters. NOTE: Copper tube rotary cutters will not cut cross-linked polyethylene unless equipped with a special blade for cutting plastic pipe. All cuts should be reasonably straight, even, and free of chips and slivers. PEX is an acronym, which stands for cross-linked polyethylene. PEX is essentially polyethylene (PE) material (a thermoplastic that consists of a series of ethylene hydrocarbon chains) which has undergone a chemical or physical reaction that causes the molecular structure of the PE chains to link together. This reaction creates a three dimensional structure which has superior resistance to high temperature and pressure. Properly manufactured PEX tubing demonstrates superior characteristics at elevated temperatures and pressures (as compared to uncross-linked polyethylene) in the areas of tensile strength, resistance to deformation, resistance to corrosion and mineral build-up, creep resistance, abrasion resistance, impact strength and chemical resistance. This makes PEX a perfect product for high temperature and pressure fluid distribution piping. Zurn PEX Storage Warning: Like most plastic materials, all cross-linked polyethylene is subject to ultraviolet (UV) deterioration and must not be exposed to sunlight. Storage outside is not recommended but if this becomes necessary, the tubing must be covered with a material which will protect it from ultraviolet light. Failure to do so will void the warranty. • Non cancelable and non returnable"
